Challenge
The AVID National Convention, affectionately called “NatCon” has been a recurring event for AVID teachers for over 30 years. We were tasked with infusing new life and excitement into this experience by developing a new tagline and generating new assets to mark, celebrate, and iconize this event.

Solution
We sought to refresh, inspire, and galvanize AVID teachers and school leaders by taking them out of the classroom and celebrating their remarkable ideas. We wanted to embolden them to what can be achieved through the “limitless” possibility of the rest of the school year.
Convention Welcome Video
Using footage captured the previous spring we built a story around the limitless possibilities that are achieved by the success of AVID students. The goal was to energize educators and remind them the power of ‘why’ they go into their classrooms every day.
Visual Identity & Color Palette
Social Teaser
With a rich social media following of educators, we put together a teaser that introduced the idea of limitless potential and success so that when educators encountered the footage at NatCon, the concept would already resonate with previous experiences.
